Service bulletins for the 2011 Buick Regal

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

1527 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

In addition, the fuel pump plunger shaft seal may wear and allow fuel to leak into the crankcase, setting a P0172 DTC, and illuminating the Malfunction Indicator Light. This can cause engine run-on and/or the engine to run rough. If this condition occurs within the stated terms, dealers will replace the engine balance chain and the fuel pump.
