B6401212022-05-16. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE; VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY. A whistling noise is present from the fresh air inlet area (engine compartment bulkhead area), in the right front area of the vehicle, at speeds above 40 mph. The noise is loudest when the sunroof is in the vent position.
B5202212022-05-16. Service bulletin. SEATS. Milky-white stains (discolorations) in the leather are observed in the second-row seat bottom, backrests and/or headrests. Refer to attachment for details. This only affects vehicles with the Merino leather.
B5105222022-05-16. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. BMW AG has issued a Delivery Stop (effective March 28, 2022) on certain Model Year 2022 BMW vehicles that were produced between February 28, 2022 and March 8, 2022 because the torsion struts were not installed at the plant.
B2701222022-05-16. Service bulletin. ENGINE. BMW AG has issued a Delivery Stop (effective January 11, 2022) on a small number of Model Year 2022 BMW vehicles that were produced between December 23, 2021 and January 4, 2022. Do not deliver to a customer, a New, Certified Pre-Owned or Used vehicle subject to a Delivery Stop, until the vehicle is repaired. Do not use or sell replacement equipment/parts subject to a Delivery Stop. Due to a production failure, the control unit was assembled with a capacitor instead of a resistor.
B6615192022-05-16. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; LANE DEPARTURE; STEERING. The steering intervention for Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is too strong (severe), which can create an uncomfortable feeling for the driver. Background: Steering intervention helps keep the vehicle in the lane if the system detects that a lane marking has been crossed. The steering intervention can be noticed on the steering wheel and can be manually overridden at any time.
