During an interim period, some vehicles ordered with a luggage carrier were being shipped with grab handles in its place. This was done in order to ensure that all luggage carriers meet the quality standards of BMW Motorrad and to avoid a delay in vehicle delivery. A printed advisory to this effect accompanies those bikes.
