MC7705252025-11-25. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. There is perceivable play between the case and the case holder and can be annoying to customers. The aluminum cases of the R1300GS are hooked into the case holders that are mounted on the vehicle and are locked in place with a lock. In contrast to the aluminum case of the R1250GS, they are not braced together with the luggage rack. This hook-in concept makes it easy to mount and remove the cases from the vehicle. This ensures that the cases can be securely locked to the vehicle in all possible tolerance positions.
