| 2020437 | 2020-09-16. Fuel System. Issue: On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump flange could crack. If this happens, fuel could leak while the engine is running. Note: This recall only affects motorcycles that did not have the fuel pump replaced under Transport Canada recall 2013-442. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the fuel pump and auxiliary fuel pump (if equipped) with an improved version. |

| 2013442 | 2013-12-13. Fuel System. On certain motorcycles, cracks could develop in the fuel pump and/or auxiliary fuel pump flange (if equipped). This would result in fuel leaking when the engine is turned on and the fuel system is pressurized. Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the fuel pump flange(s) and install a reinforcing ring or replace the fuel pump(s), as necessary. |
| 2005054 | 2005-03-03. Fuel System. On certain motorcycles, the fuel tank bleed hose may have been pinched during assembly. This could impair the bleeding function, which could result in a deformation of the fuel tank. This deformation could come into contact with the steering lock mechanism thus having the potential of locking the steering. Correction: Dealers will inspect the flow of air through the bleed hose. In the event of blockage, the fuel tank will be removed and the hose will be rerouted. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
