| 94V233002 | 1994-11-22. SUSPENSION:FRONT. THE NUT THAT SECURES THE FRONT FORK LOWER BRIDGE BALL JOINT TO THE TELELEVER SUSPENSION ARM CAN LOOSEN. Built 1993-02-01 to 1993-11-01. |

| 1997196 | 1997-11-13. Other. On certain motorcycles, if contrary to the instructions in the owner's manual, the engine is left running at an increased speed above idle (e.g., by operating the choke longer than necessary to obtain a smooth idle) while the vehicle is stationary, it is possible for the temperature of the exhaust system to rise considerably and cause fairing components to catch fire. Correction: A warning label to be installed on affected vehicles and an owner's manual insert with additional warning will be mailed to owners. |
|---|---|
| 1994191 | 1994-12-02. Structure. NOTE: THERE ARE TWO DEFECTS IN THIS RECALL INVOLVING TWO COMPONENTS. FIRST, THE ADJUSTABLE HANDLEBARS MAY BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO CRACKING IN THE HANDLEBAR STUB. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY THAT THIS CRACKING COULD RESULT IN BREAKAGE. SECOND, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE NUT THAT SECURES THE BALL JOINT TO THE TELELEVER SUSPENSION ARM COULD LOOSEN. THIS COULD CAUSE THE MOTORCYCLE'S DYNAMIC STABILITY TO BE IMPAIRED. CORRECTION: THE LEFT AND RIGHT HANDLEBAR AND RELATED PARTS WILL BE REPLACED AND THE BALL JOINT NUT WILL BE REPLACED AND SECURED WITH LOCTITE. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
