In addition, the following information is shown on the Central Information Display (CID): "You can continue to drive. No roadside assistance necessary. To avoid subsequent damage, arrange an appointment with your Service Partner".
B6629192021-09-07. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. The top view image of the vehicle is misaligned when observed in the Control Information Display (CID). When the vehicle is parked in a parking spot with line markings, it is clearly noticed in the CID that the lines are not parallel to the side of the vehicle. This may be noticed on either the driver side, passenger side or both.

This affects Samsung mobile phones (e.g., Galaxy S20 / S21) with the Android 11 operating system.

The discontinuation of 3G cellular communication for Combox, TCB 3G and ATM 3G (Telematics ControlModule) can no longer be supported by the cellular network provider starting February 2022. The decision to phase out 3G network technology was made at the discretion of the respective cellular carriers and lies beyond the control of BMW. Due to the phase-out, BMW Assist and ConnectedDrive services will no longer be supported after this date.

B5401212021-05-24. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY. SUNROOF REVERSES WHEN CLOSING: After the vehicle is left in the hot sun and/or high temperatures with the sunroof in the vented position, the sunroof may reverse (anti-trap activates) when closing.
B3601212021-05-24. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT; SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:DISC. Diagnosis of Compound Brake System Complaints in M Vehicles: 1. Visible cracks are caused by high thermal stresses during rapid heating and cooling of the brake discs. Braking from high speed with cold brake components (less than 212 degrees F) increases the likelihood of cracks to form.
B6103212021-04-26. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. PROGRAMING THE DUAL STORAGE SYSTEM AND REPLACE IT IF NECESSARY: The 12 V battery's dual storage system (DSS) may contain a software error which intermittently causes a continuous resetting of the microcontroller and communication failure.
