Service bulletins for the 2014 BMW M6

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

323 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

While driving, a Check Control Message (CCM) is displayed advising of the following: Front collision warning failed Pedestrian detection failed The following fault code is stored in the KAFAS (Camera-based Driver Assistance System): 0X800AC4 - Camera calibration failed The KAFAS camera is not properly mounted and secured to the mounting bracket on the windshield; And/ or: The mounting bracket glued to the windshield is not installed correctly. The vehicle shudders or surges slightly while driving at constant speeds and applying the accelerator very lightly. This symptom is most easily reproduced under light loads when the current fuel consumption is approximately 3448 miles per gallon. The current fuel consumption can selected and monitored in the instrument cluster while driving (the ""fuel consumption, current"" option is set to active in the settings menu). No relevant fault will be stored in the DME memory. DME software; the fuel injection rate under these conditions is too close to the minimum calculated threshold."
B1223152018-11-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL. "Reduced Engine Power with ""Charging Pressure Too High"" Faults Stored. When accelerating under certain conditions, the engine power may be reduced and a Check Control Message (CCM) ""Drive Faulty; Drive at moderate speed"" is displayed. The following charging pressure control fault is stored in the DME: ? Fault 120208: Exhaust camshaft sensor, signal: not plausible As a result, the engine power is reduced, and the following faults may also be set: ?
