19880011988-01-05. Suspension. On certain motorcycles, the lower part (eyelet) of the spring/damper unit which attaches to the rear drive unit, could crack. In extreme circumstances, the spring/damper could detach from the rear drive allowing the rear of the motorcycle to drop onto the rear tire, causing a drag on the tire and possible unstable vehicle handling. Correction: Spring/damper lower eyelet will be replace with a streghtened eyelet.
19860661986-06-19. Structure. On certain motorcycles, bending or kinking of the braided metal throttle cable could eventually result in a significantly increased operating effort in order to open and close the throttle with the twist grip. This could lead to reduced driver control. Correction: Vehicle will be inspected and throttle cable and support replaced if required.
