The driver may unintentionally reactivate the cruise control system while turning the steering wheel at low speeds, resulting in a sudden increase of vehicle speed. |

The high voltage battery cell monitoring circuit may have improperly secured electrical connections which can result in an engine stall. |
| 2025320 | 2025-06-13. High Voltage. Issue: On certain vehicles, a problem with the electric drive motor software could cause the vehicle to enter a fail-safe mode. If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This problem would cause a warning light to turn on and a warning message to be displayed. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the electric drive motor software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a BMW dealership. |

| 2024544 | 2024-08-15. Label. Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: This error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles. |

If this happens, the vehicle could accelerate and cause an unexpected speed increase. Safety Risk: An unexpected increase in vehicle speed could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle software. |
