Service bulletins for the 2015 BMW F 800 GS
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| MC3300414 | 2018-11-13. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. BMW Motorrad has ascertained that faulty washers [see (2) and (4) in the illustration] were fitted on the threaded fastener of the swinging-arm axle. The washers are too large (inside and outside diameters are 2 mm oversize). This can result in the threaded fastener not being sufficiently preloaded, however, it is not possible for the threaded fastener to work loose because the nut is self locking (captive). |
