Service bulletins for the 2024 BMW 530i

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

103 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

B1602252026-01-23. Service campaign. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. The assembly cover on the left side of the fuel tank may not have been properly plastic welded. Thiscould lead to a smell of fuel after refueling or service engine soon light (MIL) for an evaporative leakin the fuel system.
B1602242024-11-25. Service campaign. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. There may be a restriction in the low-pressure fuel line at the tank flange for the in-tank delivery pump (lowpressure pump). As a result, the required fuel flow volume is not available. If there is an insufficient supply offuel (even if only for a very brief period), the high-pressure pump might suffer preliminary damage. Inaddition, in the event of a fault, there might be a power reduction or “jerking” motions while driving.
