| 1994096 | 1994-05-30. Fuel System. On certain 318I, 318IC, 318IS, 325IC, 325IS, 325IX, 525I, 535I, 735I and 735IL vehicles, the fuel feed hose could harden and "set" over time due to engine compartment temperatures. If this "setting" occurs, it is possible that seepage between the hose and fitting could result because the clamp cannot provide sufficient sealing force to compensate for the hardening of the hose. Fuel seepage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in an engine compartment fire. Correction: fuel feed hoses and associated clamps will be replaced with ones of a new design. |

| 1993100 | 1993-07-19. Heater And Defroster. On certain 318I, 325I and M3 vehicles, elevated pressure in the cooling system due to overheating could result in cracking of the heater core end piece. Should this happen, coolant could be expelled onto the lower right leg of the driver, possibly resulting in personal injury and/or fogging of the interior surfaces of the windows causing reduced driver vision. Correction: A thermistatic bypass valve will be installed to control coolant temperature in the heater core. Also, a new design radiator cap will be installed to control pressure and provide greater overflow. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
