Service bulletins for the 2015 Bentley Continental
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 2029216/2 | 2020-03-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. New Continental Convertible side window/s not fully closed Customer statement / workshop findings: With the engine not running, the hood can be raised from the stowage position and closed with no issues using the desired roof and window close functions (for example the roof control switch or keyless exit). However, when the side glass windows start to close a combination of one or more of the side windows do not fully close. During the close operation the side window/s appear to be closing as expected but as the glass gains contact with the hood and adjoining seals the window/s lower away from the contact sealing points resulting in the side window/s dropping partially down. The customer may also experience the same symptoms regarding the side windows not fully closing even when the hood has not been cycled, the windows when raised appear to be closing as expected, however when the contact sealing points are reached the side window/s drop partially down. Technical background: There are multiple ways the roof and windows can be closed with the engine not running, irrespective of which way has been selected by the operative, the expectation is that once the roof has fully closed the side windows should also fully close in one continuous motion. Should the symptoms be as described within the Customer statement section of this TPI the initial reaction may be to adjust the window settings, this is not necessary initially and at this point should not be carried out, it is imperative that the initial checks within the Measure section of this TPI are followed to determine the exact cause and appropriate next steps. |

Tonneau micro switch mounting bush orientation (SC14/21) Technical background: The tonneau position micro switch assembly is mounted to the vehicle via a brass bush encapsulated in the switch moulding this bush may have been inverted when the switch moulding was formed. When this is the case the switch will become detached from the mounting plate. Ultimately the convertible roof system will fail to operate. Remedy: The tonneau position micro switch assembly on all applicable vehicles should be inspected. A switch moulding found to be incorrectly manufacture should be replaced |

GTC hood ram cover deletion (SC14/13) Technical background: A recently introduced cover fitted to the tonneau ram may clash with the hood mechanism and potentially cause the system to malfunction. Initial investigations have determined that this cover has to be removed until the cause of the clash is understood. Therefore the 8 cars currently fitted with this part should have the following operation performed before delivery to customer Remedy: Remove the plastic cover from both rams then over tape the ends of the ram with protective tape |

No washers fitted at all (NOT OK) orb) a full set of washers fitted (OK) 2. The fastener and washer sequence securing the bonnet vent may be incorrect NOTE: The fixings/washers will require removing and replacing during the confirmation process relating to the presence of the vent washers Remedy: The 8 fasteners securing the bonnet vents for each applicable car should be removed to allow the inspection and clarification that the bonnet vent washers are fitted New fasteners and washers should be fitted in the sequence shown within the work section of this campaign |
