Wheel bolt requires torque adjustment. Torque sticks, torque extension bars, and impact guns/wrenches are not approved by Audi of America, Inc., and should not be used to apply torque to wheel bolts. Always use a calibrated torque wrench to attain the correct wheel bolt torque and follow the proper wheel tightening procedure as outlined in Elsa. Proper use of a calibrated torque wrench ensures that all wheel bolts are tightened equally and reduces the chances of repeat repairs. Using methods other than a calibrated torque wrench to attain correct wheel bolt torque may lead to problems. |
| Customer Letter | 2017-10-31. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. a faulty intake manifold may cause the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on the instrument cluster to illuminate due to the presence of specific fault codes caused by this component and/or a faulty fuel injector may cause minor misfire conditions and, in turn, cause the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on the instrument cluster to illuminate due to the presence of specific fault codes caused by this component. Please note that it is highly unlikely that your vehicle will experience an issue with both the intake manifold and/or multiple fuel injectors at the same time. In our continuing efforts to assure proper performance of Audi vehicles, your dealer will diagnose and replace a faulty intake manifold and/or a faulty fuel injector if necessary, at no cost to you as long as the vehicle remains within the time and mileage limits of this warranty extension. | A611321 2010342- | 2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 61 number 11-14 dated August 16, 2011. Convertible top exterior cloth appears soiled. The convertible top is made of durable fabric that has been treated at the factory with a compound that helps repel dirt and water. With proper care, the cloth will retain its function and proper appearance for a long time. It is normal, however, for the fabric to change color somewhat as it ages. This is particularly true of lighter-color tops. The cloth tension changes when the top is opened, which can cause kinks. When the top is closed, the kinks improve after a short time. However, these material-related kinks can never be completely avoided. In addition, dirt and dust can deposit in the kinks. If these dirt and dust deposits are not properly removed in a car wash, they can contribute to poor appearance |

The customer feels the vibration in one or both of the following circumstances: * When driving at highway speeds from 55 - 80 mph (88 - 128 km/h). * When applying low brake pedal pressure with minor slow down. The vibrations felt by the customer could be a result of the harmonic vibrations caused by the radial force variation (RFV) of the tires. |
| A401335 2023187- | 2017-10-31. Service bulletin. STEERING; WHEELS. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 40 number 12-23 dated May 14, 2012. Prior to engine replacement, any debris lodged in transferred assemblies must be removed. If the vehicle's engine experienced a serious mechanical problem, it is possible that small pieces of metal debris resulting from the mechanical problem may have become deposited in the intake manifold, air intake hoses, exhaust manifolds, exhaust down-pipes, turbocharger, supercharger, and/or intercooler. If these pieces are not removed prior to the installation and operation of the replacement engine, the pieces may be drawn into the combustion chamber, which can cause a knocking noise and subsequent serious engine damage. |

Each model?s SVM code is provided in a parts bulletin (GP bulletin), which should have been referenced through ETKA when the module was replaced. The control module cannot be coded until the SVM code has been executed. |
