Update Bulletin2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. This Update has been proactively released to prevent the following condition from occurring in the vehicle. On Audi vehicles manufactured within a specific period, the refrigerant pressure sensor for the air conditioner may fail after a period of time. As a result, the air conditioner compressor is switched off. This Update is in effect until removed.

Customer may report that cracking, grinding, rattling, humming, whining, or similar interference is coming from one or more speakers. Parts of the speakers (such as the brackets, cables, or covers) or parts of the interior fittings (such as door covers, rear shelf, facings, or covers) can vibrate at certain frequencies, causing noises. The radio tuner or other control modules may be affected by electromagnetic interference from aftermarket electronic devices.

A911392 2030947-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 12-61 dated September 25, 2012. The customer complains that when he or she is trying to place a phone call from the vehicle while using a Bluetooth®-connected phone, the phone call disconnects before it begins and an error shows on the MMI display. The message may be "Function not supported" or "Network error". The customer is using a phone with the Android operating system. In addition, Skype®, or another network-based communication software, is installed on the phone. Call can be placed directly from the phone without a problem. When the phone gets the request to place a call from the vehicle, a prompt appears on the phone asking the user to choose how the call should be placed. If the prompt is ignored, the MMI system disconnects the call assuming the phone is not responding.

Keyless entry is inoperative. Remote range is poor. Audi Advanced key is inoperative. High early warranty information related to inoperative remote keys necessitates this repair authorization. This bulletin applies to any repair that requires replacement of the air conditioning compressor. Any replacement of A/C compressors?regardless of the reason for failure?must include an ODIS GFF cooling performance test plan of the A/C system with documentation of the recovered refrigerant volume. This GFF test plan requirement is mandatory without exception.

While using Audi connect, the customer cannot access the online destination search and/or the Google Earth navigation view. The following message appears in the MMI: ?This service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.? The customer may also see an error message in the myAudi portal indicating that one or multiple licenses are expired and must be renewed. Additionally, if the vehicle is a model year 2016 A6, A7, or TT, the customer may not be able to see speed and flow traffic information in the navigation map screen, and may consistently see that no traffic reports are available. For these vehicles, traffic is provided by INRIX online.

If the vehicle is a model year 2016 A6 or A7, see TSB 2042013: 91 Audi connect online destination search, Google Earth navigation view, or INRIX online traffic is not available. There is a known server issue that can only be resolved through a change to the Audi AG backend server. Audi has changed traffic providers over the years as new technologies have developed. This bulletin provides an overview of the different systems and the basic checks that can be performed to diagnose complaints related to traffic in the MMI navigation system.

A901238 2032113-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. The customer may state that the outside ambient temperature display is incorrect. To achieve a smoothening effect of the displayed outside ambient temperature, the value shown does not instantaneously follow the temperature sensor measurement. The display will not change faster than 4° F (2° C) per minute. This concept applies to both falling and rising temperatures. A programming strategy is also implemented to avoid incorrect readings on a parked vehicle, due to the temperature sensor being affected by outside influences such as radiant heat from the engine bay, elevated road surface temperatures, etc.

A001463 2033576-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 13-49 dated May 14, 2013. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. When an unapproved aftermarket speed-filling device is used to add oil to the engine, the increased oil flow rate may force oil into the intake manifold or combustion chamber, creating the potential for engine damage.

Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 87D9 code in the Elsa Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair. Vehicle must be within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Service Bulletin. Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in dealer inventory prior to sale. On Audi vehicles manufactured within a specific period, the refrigerant pressure sensor for the air conditioner may fail after a period of time. As a result, the air conditioner compressor is switched off.
