Service bulletins for the 2011 Audi S5

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

694 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

961485202741652022-11-21. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Sunglass holder will not close
011400202629942022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. An incorrect software setting causes the DTC to be stored.
011390203376712022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 01 MIL on (DTC P1196/P1197/P0135, heater circuit fault lambda sensor) - Repair Authorization
011366203145832022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV). Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes.
011345203145842022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV). Under extreme driving conditions (such short-distance, stop-and-go driving), high crankcase pressure can cause the DTCs to appear.
011309201475382022-10-31. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. The use of contaminated gasoline or gasoline with a low content of deposit control additives may result in one or more conditions.
011258203145812022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes. By changing the crankcase pressure valve to a lower operating pressure this condition can be improved and eliminate the mentioned possible DTC codes. Along with the crankcase pressure being lowered, a new ECM software level is required to compensate for new crankcase pressure.
001470203920612022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. High quality media files (video and sound) are now integrated into technical service bulletins on a case-by-case basis. Media files can now be viewed on any smartphone or tablet.

001463203357622022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. When an unapproved aftermarket speed-filling device is used to add oil to the engine, the increased oil flow rate may force oil into the intake manifold or combustion chamber, creating the potential for engine damage.
001459202973722022-09-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. When oil is drained through the drain plug, the oil might spill on components around the oil pan area. If it is not properly cleaned up, this spilled oil could drip after the procedure is complete, causing unnecessary customer complaints.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
