Service bulletins for the 2014 Audi RS 5
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The basic settings of the active engine mounts in the subframe mount control module, J931, are deactivated when work is done on either of the vehicle electrical system control modules, J519 and/or J520 (for example, when a key is programmed). As a result, the vehicle vibrates or judders when cylinders are actively switched off. |
| A001459 2029737- | 2017-12-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 12-34 dated June 6, 2012. The process of draining oil through the drain plug is not always tidy. When oil is drained through the drain plug, the oil might spill on components around the oil pan area. If it is not properly cleaned up, this spilled oil could drip after the procedure is complete, causing unnecessary customer complaints. |
| A371452 2039267- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Bump felt just after the vehicle is brought to a stop. Rattle noise heard from transmission at idle speed. The software of the transmission mechatronic control module, J743, needs to be updated. |

| A201554 2035073- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 20 number 15-52 dated October 28, 2015. The MIL is on. DTC P045600 (EVAP System Leak Detected NVLD (very small leak)) is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01). Drivability is not affected. The NVLD pressure switch may erroneously detect a very small leak. |
| A201552 2035073- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 20 number 15-48 dated October 15, 2015. The MIL is on. DTC P045600 (EVAP System Leak Detected NVLD (very small leak)) is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01). Drivability is not affected. The NVLD pressure switch may erroneously detect a very small leak. |
| A201548 2035073- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 20 number 15-46 dated May 15, 2015. The MIL is on. DTC P045600 (EVAP System Leak Detected NVLD (very small leak)) is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01). Drivability is not affected. The NVLD pressure switch may erroneously detect a very small leak. |
| A901238 2032113- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. The customer may state that the outside ambient temperature display is incorrect. To achieve a smoothening effect of the displayed outside ambient temperature, the value shown does not instantaneously follow the temperature sensor measurement. The display will not change faster than 4° F (2° C) per minute. This concept applies to both falling and rising temperatures. A programming strategy is also implemented to avoid incorrect readings on a parked vehicle, due to the temperature sensor being affected by outside influences such as radiant heat from the engine bay, elevated road surface temperatures, etc. |
| A201435 2037739- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Customer may report that the check engine light comes on intermittently. DTC P310B00 DFC 2638 (Low fuel pressure regulation fuel pressure outside specification) is stored in the engine control module (ECM). The DTC is caused by conflicting tolerances of the fuel pump at idle speed/part load. |
| A001466 2037949- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. A DTC with the description ?Invalid Data Record? is stored after an ECU has been replaced or updated. This DTC is normal. It indicates that the parameter data has not been properly programmed into the ECU by SVM. |
| A001465 2011732- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 00 number 12-32 dated February 7, 2012. This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) details the general process for carrying out a Software Version Management (SVM) software update for any TSB or Update. |
| A641433 2029714- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 64 number 12-22 dated July 5, 2012. After one or both of the front door control units (J386/J387) is replaced, one or both of the rear door control units (J3888/J389) cannot be coded or parameterized via an SVM specified vs. actual comparison (spec/actual). The parameter data in the software coding container has changed for the front and rear door control units. As a result, an SVM code is required to update the parameter data for any replacement control unit. Simply running an SVM spec/actual will not code nor update the parameter data in the new replacement control unit. A hardware change suggestion will be provided when an SVM spec/actual is executed. An additional hardware replacement is not required. |
| A911419 2026895- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 11-16 dated October 5, 2011. Parts of the speakers (such as the brackets, cables, or covers) or parts of the interior fittings (such as door covers, rear shelf, facings, or covers) can vibrate at certain frequencies, causing noises. The radio tuner or other control modules may be affected by electromagnetic interference from aftermarket electronic devices. |
| A911595 2040926- | 2017-10-27. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. The navigation map update database 8R0051884CJ cannot be activated using Software Version Management. |
