Service bulletins for the 2010 Audi Q7
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| A171453 2038129- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 14-50 dated August 15, 2014. A check with the engine oil service dipstick T40178 is necessary, but the adjustment values for the dipstick are not available in the Elsa repair manual. Because of a system change, the adjustment values for the service dipstick T40178 were removed from the repair manual. |
| A011491 2028842- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Customer vehicle is fitted with unauthorized ECM tuning. All systems on Audi vehicles are engineered to work together using the factory calibrations, which have been extensively tested and validated before the vehicle is released for sale. The Audi warranty coverage is based on the results of developing the vehicle under the factory calibration. If a vehicle is equipped with unauthorized hardware or software tuning, it can cause stress on vehicle components outside of intended design limits, and can cause damage and additional wear. Subsequently, factory powertrain warranty coverage is reduced or voided. |
| A011495 2038434- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. The MIL is on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01). Software update needed. |
| A261424 2038295- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. There are ?Refill AdBlue? warnings in the cluster. The warnings appear approximately 1,500 - 2,500 miles after the last top-off. When the AdBlue tank is refilled, the vehicle will only accept approximately 1 - 2 gallons of reductant. When checked manually, the active tank is 50% full or less and the passive tank is full. There are no reductant system fault codes stored. If any reductant system fault codes are stored, this TSB does not apply. The reducing agent transfer pump V436 may be faulty. The vehicle cannot pump AdBlue from the passive tank to the active tank. Cars in hot weather regions are more prone to this issue. |
| A481462 2017266- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 48 number 14-59 dated June 2, 2014. Electrically-adjustable steering column adjustment is restricted and does not adjust vertically. Incorrect operation of Easy Entry is not the cause. It is unlikely that external forces have led to the loss of the stored end positions of the adjustment movement. Seat adjustments can be used to maintain the 10-inch minimum recommended distance from the steering wheel in case of airbag deployment. The axial adjustment is still functional during this condition. |
| A641436 2020552- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD. Windshield is streaked, has a snakeskin appearance, or its surface feels rough. Residue from industrial fallout as well as normal road dirt and grime may accumulate on windshield. |
| A921409 2038151- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 92 number 14-08 dated August 19, 2014. The washer solvent level warning is on in the DIS, but the washer solvent level is correct. There is no functional restriction in the windshield washer system. The sensitivity of the washer solvent level sensor (G33) can be affected by the type, concentration, and the presence of additives in the washer solvent currently in the tank. The operation of the level sensor relies on the composition of the solvent to provide an accurate message on the solvent level. Incorrect concentration and the presence of additives can contaminate the sensor and reduce its sensitivity. |

Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 13-08 dated September 20, 2013. The customer would like to add a different navigation map database for countries outside of the USA or Canada. The customer would like to change the MMI system language to a different language that is not already supported by MMI. When a song is being played and the track information for that song contains foreign language characters, the driver information system (DIS) in the cluster correctly displays the characters, but the MMI display does not. |
| A871458 2035582- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 87 number 13-46 dated October 21, 2013. | A481351 2017266- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. STEERING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 48 number 10-09 dated August 13, 2010. Electric steering column adjustment is restricted or does not work at all. Incorrect operation of Easy Entry is not the cause. It is unlikely that external forces have led to the loss of the stored end positions of the adjustment movement. See TSB 2015819, 48 Easy Entry function of the power adjustable steering column intermittently does not work, for more information. The seat adjustments can be used to maintain the 10-inch minimum recommended distance from the steering wheel in case of airbag deployment. The steering column may be under tension due to unfavorable tolerances of the steering column and module cross carrier. As a result, the current draw of the regulator motors is above specification, so the electric steering column adjustment fails. |
| A571392 2022032- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LATCH. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 57 number 11-49 dated August 8, 2011.
