Service bulletins for the 2009 Audi Q7

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

700 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

011469203666812023-01-03. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. When diagnosing the condition listed above on a common rail diesel vehicle, if no root cause is found after all GFF diagnostic procedures have been performed, it may be necessary to check for metallic particles in the high pressure fuel pump using the procedure in the Service section of this bulletin.
011462203616932023-01-03. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. In tank, fuel pump may be making a straining noise. Diesel fuel requires additive blending or ?winterization? to be useable at low temperatures. At temperatures below 20° F (-7° C), No. 2 Diesel with insufficient winterization blending may lose its fluidity due to wax separation. This may clog the fuel filter or in-tank filter, preventing the engine from operating properly. No. 2 Diesel is blended by refineries to various levels of winterization (minimum useable temperature) based on month, geographical location, and the 10th percentile minimum ambient air temperature for the given region. Although rare, during sudden periods of extreme low temperatures (record lows), fuel stations may not be adequately prepared with No. 2 Diesel fuel with sufficient winterization to resist wax formation or ?gelling?.

011380202434422023-01-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. After recognizing that the boost pressure is too low or too high, the engine control module switches to emergency operation and the engine performance is reduced via the injected fuel quantity (?limp mode?).
011350203019222023-01-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. A deformed oil seal behind the potentiometer (Figure 1) causes a linkage of the intake manifold flap adjustment to stick, which sets the DTCs.
011300203029232023-01-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Moisture ingress due to inadequate internal sealing of some differential pressure sensors (G505) causes electronic failure of the sensors. Part analysis shows that this condition only affects parts that were produced on or before March 29, 2011.
001466203794912023-01-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM). A DTC with the description ?Invalid Data Record? is stored after an ECU has been replaced or updated.
001463203357622023-01-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. When an unapproved aftermarket speed-filling device is used to add oil to the engine, the increased oil flow rate may force oil into the intake manifold or combustion chamber, creating the potential for engine damage.
001459202973722023-01-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. When oil is drained through the drain plug, the oil might spill on components around the oil pan area. If it is not properly cleaned up, this spilled oil could drip after the procedure is complete, causing unnecessary customer complaints.
001349203357612023-01-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay.
011376201826072022-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM). Contact resistance in the ECM wiring ? throttle valve.
