This condition may be caused when the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are depressed simultaneously. Drivers who drive with their left foot resting on the brake pedal are prone to experience this condition. With the introduction of Electronic Power Control (EPC) (no accelerator cable) to fuel injection systems, an engine RPM control feature has been incorporated into the engine electronic control system software. Customer states that the engine returns to idle speed of approximately 1,400 RPM although the accelerator is depressed, and/or the vehicle hesitates (lacks power on take-off).

A911446 2033313-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 13-54 dated March 15, 2013. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) does not work. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) does not work. The message "ACC no sensor vision" appears in the cluster. DTCs are logged in the distance regulation control module, J428 (13). Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is deactivated when the radar sensor does not see any objects for an extended period of time (varies based on environmental conditions). The most common cause for this type of deactivation is that the field of vision of the radar sensor is blocked.

Only vehicles with standard bumpers are affected. S-line (PR number 2K7 or 2K8) and S model (PR number 2K3 or 2K4) bumpers are not affected. A boundary layer between warm and cold air is recognized as an obstacle (e.g., hot exhaust gases in cold weather).

The guidelines used for parking are fuzzy, distorted, or pixelated when compared with the guidelines displayed on another vehicle?s MMI.
