MIL on, DTC P0299 (Negative Pressure Deviation) is stored. Turbocharger waste gate flap has play. Under certain driving conditions, the linkage for the waste gate actuation can encounter excessive wear which leads to play at the waste gate flap. This leads to boost escaping through a loose flap, which sets DTC P0299 (Negative Pressure Deviation).
A641326 2027837-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:EMERGENCY:ESCAPE/EGRESS/EXIT. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 64 number 12-25 dated November 7, 2012. The customer may report hearing noises when operating the window or noises from inside the door when driving on rough roads. When the window is lowered, it collides with the clip that holds the window guide cable. This causes the clip to open and contact the window during operation, or to rattle when the vehicle is driven on rough roads.
A661331 2029586-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY; LANE DEPARTURE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 66 number 13-28 dated April 10, 2013. A871342 2020124-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 87 number 12-37 dated November 16, 2012. Air conditioning is inoperative. The HVAC blower functions normally. Battery discharged; however, when charged, there is no bus silence when vehicle ignition is off. The A/C pressure/temperature sensor, G395, leaks refrigerant. This causes sensor G395 to show an incorrect or implausible value when reading MVBs. An incorrect signal or a low refrigerant level in the system can cause the air conditioning compressor to deactivate. The LIN cable connecting the vehicle electrical system control module, J519, to sensor G395 is pinched or cut. This affects the A4/S4, A5/S5 Coupe and Cabriolet, and Audi Q5 vehicles. The A6 and A8 are not affected by this type of failure. The pressure sensor G395/G65 sends an incorrect signal that prevents bus silence and the battery is discharged. Sensor G395 is a LIN slave of the vehicle electrical system control module. The vehicle electrical system control module transfers the information provided by the sensor via the comfort data bus to the climate control module, J255.
A911387 2024683-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 10-68 dated October 26, 2010. The MMI control knob joystick is loose or has fallen off. Only vehicles with navigation and without MMI touch are affected.
A961364 2029384-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 12-32 dated April 27, 2012. The customer is able to program one or more of the Homelink buttons using their garage door remote, but after a few days or weeks, one or more of the programmed Homelink buttons no longer function. The LED on the Homelink button that is no longer functioning now flashes slowly, indicating that no programming is stored. The customer?s transmitter operates at 295Mhz. At the workshop, the Homelink system can be programmed to the workshop garage door successfully. No trouble is found. No DTCs are stored in any control units. The garage door opener control module, J530, was designed with an operational frequency range in which the 295Mhz frequency works correctly during the initial programming of the system. Over time, the transmitting frequency can drift out of range (especially in warmer climates), causing the system to lose its programming.

A151225 2031085-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. MIL on. DTCs for the cam actuators are stored in ECM memory. After the activation of the cam actuator to change to the other cam profile, the pin of the actuator is pushed back in by the cam. This is confirmed by a voltage impulse, which is registered by the engine control unit and confirms the operation. If this does not happen, or not at the right time, a DTC "implausible signal" is saved in ECM memory. Check the distance of the pin tip of the cam actuator for valve lift system to the camshaft when it is not operated with a gauge. The measurement of the tip to the basic camshaft circle outside of the groove must be taken. If this measurement is 0.9mm, the actuator 06E103697J must be installed. The actuator 06E103697J must only be used, if the measurement is 0.9mm or bigger.
A171232 2018550-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 12 - 31 dated August 30, 2012. Oil consumption measurement - Repair Authorization (CA). In order to provide effective lubrication and cooling of internal engine components, all internal combustion engines consume a certain amount of engine oil. Oil consumption varies from engine to engine and may change significantly over the life of the engine. Typically engines with specified break-in periods consume more oil during the break-in period, and the oil consumption will stabilize after the break-in period. Refer to the Owner's Manual for specific break-in procedures. Under normal conditions, the rate of oil consumption depends on the quality and viscosity of the oil, the RPM at which the engine is operated, the ambient temperature and road conditions. Additional factors are the amount of oil dilution from water condensation or fuel residue and the oxidation level of the oil.
A271214 2031145-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. complaints are reported by the customer regarding electrical features and functions in the vehicle. One or more warning lights on in cluster. The DIS or other displays in cluster are blank. MMI does not function. Windows do not function. LED indicators in various buttons inside the vehicle do not light up. The voltage regulator on the alternator can sporadically fail causing the electrical system to experience too high of voltage. As a result, the affected vehicle electronic components go in to high voltage protection and deactivate sensitive displays and indicators to prevent electrical damage. When an over voltage condition occurs the vehicle electronics and alternator are protected, thus there is no need to replace the entire alternator assembly.
