Service bulletins for the 2010 Audi Q5

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

If the memory is read with guided fault finding (GFF) or if Immobilizer test plans are performed, the above DTC entries may be stored due to a communication error between the VAS tester and the TCM. (In particular, the issue happens with tester VAS 5051B).
37 14 31 20130022022-05-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:FLUID/LUBRICANT:SEALS/GASKETS. As the sump pan gasket settles, the torque of the bolts decreases and the seal may leak. Automatic transmission fluid is leaking at the sump pan gasket.
37 14 30 20036582022-05-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC):CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN. This condition may be caused when the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are depressed simultaneously. Drivers who drive with their left foot resting on the brake pedal are prone to experience this condition. With the introduction of Electronic Power Control (EPC) (no accelerator cable) to fuel injection systems, an engine RPM control feature has been incorporated into the engine electronic control system software. Customer states that the engine returns to idle speed of approximately 1,400 RPM although the accelerator is depressed, and/or the vehicle hesitates (lacks power on take-off).
37 14 26 20255352022-05-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); UNKNOWN OR OTHER. If the memory is read with guided fault finding (GFF) or if Immobilizer test plans are performed, the above DTC entries may be stored due to a communication error between the VAS tester and the TCM. (In particular, the issue happens with tester VAS 5051B).
37 13 09 20287152022-05-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:GEARS. After a mechatronics, torque converter, or complete gearbox replacement, the clutches must be adapted to the new component. This requires a gradual move of the clutch linings toward the optimal operating points in the most diverse load conditions. As a result, sporadic driving power disruptions lasting for less than a second or reduced shift comfort are possible over the first 500 miles. This is normal, and these issues will decrease over time. The issues can also occur if the adaptation values of the gearbox were deleted.
A301519 2019850-2018-02-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL; POWER TRAIN. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 30 number 11-10 dated December 2, 2011. Clutch is not operating properly. Clutch has a burnt smell. Clutch pedal does not fully return to starting position. Incorrect shifting, the revolutions of clutch plate and engine input shaft differ too much, excessive slipping of the clutch, and when the clutch is pressed and an incorrect lower gear is selected, can result in clutch damage.
A301722 2019850-2018-02-05. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY. This technical service bulletin provides guidelines for diagnosing the clutch plate.
A371446 2025535-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 37 number 14-41 dated August 1, 2014. There is no customer complaint with this concern. Transmission faults stored (DTC P1703 or U1111).
A371309 2028715-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 37 number 12-40 dated February 28, 2012. Rough gear changes, both when accelerating and when slowing down. There is a rough driving power disruption that occurs sporadically and lasts for less than a second.
A371430 2003658-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY:PEDAL/HAND LEVER(MOTORCYCLE). Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 37 number 13-07 dated May 29, 2013. Customer states that the engine returns to idle speed of approximately 1,400 RPM although the accelerator is depressed, and/or the vehicle hesitates (lacks power on take-off). No DTCs are stored. This condition may be caused when the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are depressed simultaneously. Drivers who drive with their left foot resting on the brake pedal are prone to experience this condition.
