Service bulletins for the 2001 Audi allroad

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

47 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

A571738 2017082-2018-02-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. This informational bulletin contains instructions for sychronizing the remote key after the battery has been disconnected or replaced.
A571385 2017082-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LATCH. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 57 number 13-82 dated February 5, 2013. Central locking via remote control does not work either sporadically or permanently. The locks can still be operated manually. Missing synchronization between the remote control key and vehicle because the battery has been disconnected or the battery of the remote control has been replaced. If other senders operate in the same frequency range (mobile phones, TV stations, wireless headphones, baby monitors, other vehicle remote controls, etc.), the remote control key may have been temporarily switched off because a clear identification of the remote control key is not possible. This is necessary to prevent an unintentional unlocking of the vehicle by other unrelated senders.

IF THIS HAPPENS, THE MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) WILL ILLUMINATE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THE VEHICLE MAY EXPERIENCE SOME DETERIORATION IN PERFORMANCE. IN SOME CASES, A MALFUNCTIONING IGNITION COIL MAY CAUSE A VEHICLE TO EXCEED FEDERAL AND/OR CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS STANDARDS. *PE UPDATED 8/9/10. *PE UPDATED 8/11/10. *PE UPDATED 11/8/10. *PE UPDATED 11/10/10. *PE UPDATED 1/10/11. *PE
