16V6190002016-08-24. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain model year 2010-2013 Audi A8 vehicles manufactured May 15, 2010, to May 14, 2012. The affected vehicles have a coolant valve that may leak, allowing coolant to enter the engine control module causing a loss of power or the engine to stall. Built 2010-05-15 to 2012-05-14.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20164092016-08-22. Electrical. On certain vehicles, engine coolant could leak through a coolant valve connection. This could cause coolant to migrate into the engine control module, potentially resulting in an electrical short and an engine stall. This would result in a loss of motive power, which could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the coolant valve, inspect for coolant migration and repair as necessary.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
