Service bulletins for the 2016 Audi A7
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The customer is unable to play music when using the USB AMI cable connection (in A3 vehicles) or the USB media port (in A6, A7, or TT vehicles). Android phones connect to the MMI using the Media Transport Protocol (MTP). If the phone is not correctly configured to use MTP, it is possible that the MMI does not see the phone. When correctly set up, the MMI sees the phone as a media storage device (similar to a USB drive or external hard drive). The MMI can only see music that was manually transferred to the phone from a computer. Any music that was downloaded to the phone through a music app (such as the Google Play music app) cannot be seen by the MMI. This is due to an Android operating system restriction and is not a limitation of the MMI. |

| 2016 Audi 7-28-1 | 2018-02-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL; EQUIPMENT. This document contains the Audi maintenance schedule. The intervals shown in this table are based on vehicles operating under normal conditions. In case of severe conditions, such as extremely low temperatures, excessive dust, etc., it is necessary for certain operations to be carried out in between the given intervals. This applies particularly to engine oil changes and the cleaning or replacing of the air cleaner filter element. |
| A9615002027416-6 | 2018-02-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 14-85 dated July 24, 2014. | A911512 2036575- | 2018-02-05. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 15-80 dated March 20, 2015. The addresses and contacts stored in the Navigation >> Favorites, Navigation >> Directory, and Navigation >> Last destinations submenus disappear intermittently. Intermittently, the MMI system does not appear to remember that the user?s myAudi PIN has already been entered, and it requires the user to enter the PIN again. The voice recognition system does not easily recognize commands spoken by the driver. This condition can be consistent or intermittent. If a user stores addresses and contacts in the Navigation >> Favorites, Navigation >> Directory, and Navigation >> Last destinations submenus while a Bluetooth phone is paired to the vehicle, those addresses and contacts will only be visible any time that the same phone is paired to the vehicle. Any time that the same phone is not paired to the vehicle, the addresses and contacts will not be available. If a user stores addresses and contacts in the Navigation >> Favorites, Navigation >> Directory, and Navigation >> Last destinations submenus while a Bluetooth phone is not paired to the vehicle, the addresses and contacts will be available any time. In vehicles with Audi connect, the user is prompted to enter the myAudi PIN when selecting online destinations, accessing weather or other online information, or when importing contacts from the myAudi account. If the user?s Bluetooth phone (the same phone that was paired to the vehicle when the PIN was entered initially) is paired to the vehicle, the user will not be prompted to re-enter the PIN after it has been entered. 2016 A6 and A7 vehicles have a known software issue that requires the myAudi PIN to be entered with each ignition cycle. Multiple voice recognition training sessions can be stored in the MMI for different users when different phones are Bluetooth-paired during each training session. If no phone is paired, the training session will be stored under a default profile. Thi |

The keyless starting system (keyless go) is a standard feature; Audi advanced key is an optional feature. All vehicles have an engine start-stop button (-E408-) and touch sensor surface on the outer door handles, but this does not mean that the optional Audi advanced key function is installed. |
