A971441 2036764-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The MIL is on. Vehicle will not start. DTC P068A00 is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01). Numerous unrelated DTCs are also stored in the system. The motronic engine control module power supply relay, J271, is not functioning properly. Because the J271 relay controls battery voltage (Terminal 30) via a ground signal sent from the ECM, numerous faults can occur in multiple control modules when it is not functioning properly.
A801406 2033806-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 80 number 13-05 dated September 11, 2013. Malfunction Indicator Lamp is on. Climate system heating performance is insufficient. Coolant level warning is on. Engine temperature is elevated. "Limp Home" mode is active. Faults are stored in the transmission control module (address word 02). Coolant loss is found from one or more control valves: N82, N509, or N488. Coolant may have migrated into the wiring harness through the connector and into various control units. Climate system heating performance is insufficient due to coolant loss, or due to a faulty N82 control valve. Inspection of the coolant control valves N82, N509, or N488 reveals the presence of coolant inside the electrical connector as shown in the illustration. The connectors, wiring harness, and/or connected control units may have been damaged from exposure to coolant.

A011455 2036169-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP. The MIL is on. DTC P0087 may be stored in the ECM. Drivability concerns such as hard starting/no starting are present. Outside temperature is sub-freezing. In tank, fuel pump may be making a straining noise. Diesel fuel requires additive blending or ?winterization? to be useable at low temperatures. At temperatures below 20° F (-7° C), No. 2 Diesel with insufficient winterization blending may lose its fluidity due to wax separation. This may clog the fuel filter or in-tank filter, preventing the engine from operating properly. No. 2 Diesel is blended by refineries to various levels of winterization (minimum useable temperature) based on month, geographical location, and the 10th percentile minimum ambient air temperature for the given region. Although rare, during sudden periods of extreme low temperatures (record lows), fuel stations may not be adequately prepared with No. 2 Diesel fuel with sufficient winterization to resist wax formation or ?gelling?.
A011453 2026483-2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 11-23 dated May 23, 2011. The MIL is on. DTC P169A00 is stored in the ECM. The vehicle is in transport mode.

Update Bulletin2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. 3.0T engine oil level low. This Update is in effect until removed. Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 24V2 code in the ElsaWeb Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair. Vehicle must be in New Federal Emissions Warranty. Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Service Bulletin. Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in dealer inventory prior to sale. On Audi vehicles with 3.0L TFSI engine manufactured within a specific period, it is possible that the dynamic oil level warning function is faulty. This can cause the oil level warning lamp to light up even though there is sufficient oil in the engine.

A191346 2033491-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 19 number 13-44 dated July 18, 2013. Customer may report coolant leaking from the engine area. The leak can be traced to the connection of the water pump and the hose leading to the heater core. The seal ring is not the cause of the leak.
A171346 2030197-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 13-45 dated October 23, 2013. Customer complains of excessive oil consumption. In order to provide effective lubrication and cooling of internal engine components, all internal combustion engines consume a certain amount of engine oil. Oil consumption varies from engine to engine and may change significantly over the life of the engine. Typically, engines with specified break-in periods consume more oil during the break-in period, and the oil consumption will stabilize after the break-in period. Refer to the Owner?s Manual for specific break-in procedures. Under normal conditions, the rate of oil consumption depends on the quality and viscosity of the oil, the RPM at which the engine is operated, the ambient temperature, and road conditions. Additional factors are the amount of oil dilution from water condensation or fuel residue, and the oxidation level of the oil. Under certain driving conditions, internal engine pressure conditions in the 3.0 TFSI engine can negatively influence the rate of oil consumption. This can occur while the vehicle is operated in city driving conditions, for example: stop and go traffic with extended idle periods.
A011348 2033001-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-37 dated October 10, 2013. MIL on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module. Mileage is greater than 15,000 miles. Under certain driving conditions, the secondary air ports in the cylinder head can accumulate carbon over time, causing a restriction.
A011345 2031458-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-66 dated January 17, 2013. MIL on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module (ECM). Under extreme driving conditions (such short-distance, stop-and-go driving), high crankcase pressure can cause the DTCs to appear. The condition can be improved and the DTCs eliminated when the crankcase pressure valve is changed to a lower operating pressure and the ECM software is updated to compensate for new crankcase pressure.
A871345 2024644-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:HOSES/LINES/PIPING/FITTINGS. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 87 number 13-41 dated May 30, 2013. Moisture in the driver or front passenger foot well. Due to a faulty and/or incorrectly installed condensation drain hose, condensation from the evaporator could enter the front foot well areas through a gap between the body and the sealing surface of the drain hose.
A191345 2034439-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:RADIATOR ASSEMBLY. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 19 number 13-43 dated July 12, 2013. The coolant warning light is illuminated. Coolant is leaking from the front intercooler radiator because of stone damage to the radiator. When vehicles are driven on gravel roads, there is a greater chance of front-end stone impact damage to the intercooler radiator.
A171341 2027501-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 11-24 dated November 11, 2011. Electronic oil consumption measurement - Repair Authorization Model Year 2012. In order to provide effective lubrication and cooling of internal engine components, all internal combustion engines consume a certain amount of engine oil. Oil consumption varies from engine to engine, and may change significantly over the life of the engine. Typically, engines with specified break-in periods consume more oil during the break-in period, and the oil consumption will stabilize after the break-in period. Refer to the Owner?s Manual for specific break-in procedures. Under normal conditions, the rate of oil consumption depends on the quality and viscosity of the oil, the RPM at which the engine is operated, and the ambient temperature and road conditions. Additional factors are the amount of oil dilution from water condensation or fuel residue and the oxidation level of the oil. Utilizing the advanced sensor technology integrated in the 2009> B8 platform (A4, allroad, A5, A5 Cabriolet, A6, and Q5) equipped with the 2.0 TFSI (CAEB, CPMA) engine, it is possible to measure oil consumption electronically via a Guided Function test plan. The electronic oil consumption measurement will only function on the 2.0 TFSI engine with engine code CAEB and CPMA.
A101310 2018288-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 10 number 10-02 dated September 14, 2010. Prior to engine replacement, any debris lodged in transferred assemblies must be removed. If the vehicle's engine experienced a serious mechanical problem, it is possible that small pieces of metal debris resulting from the mechanical problem may have become deposited in the intake manifold, air intake hoses, exhaust manifolds, exhaust down-pipes, turbocharger, supercharger, and/or intercooler. If these pieces are not removed prior to the installation and operation of the replacement engine, the pieces may be drawn into the combustion chamber, which can cause a knocking noise and subsequent serious engine damage.
A011329 2033223-2017-10-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-73 dated March 7, 2013. The engine warning light is on after engine replacement. The engine is not running roughly. However, the engine control module, J623 (01), is storing one or more of the following engine misfire fault codes: DTCs P0300 - P0304. The fault codes occur at light load, between 8% and 14% accelerator pedal position. The programmed values for the misfiring recognition are not automatically reset by deleting the memory once.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
