By component

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
21V4700002021-06-23. AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2000-2001 Audi TT Coupe, TT Roadster, 2000-2002 A4, and S4 vehicles equipped with Non-Azide Driver Air Bag Inflators (NADI) that do not contain phase stabilized ammonium nitrate (PSAN) propellant. Due to a manufacturing issue, the NADI inflators may absorb moisture, possibly causing the air bag to deploy improperly in the event of a crash.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20213912021-06-23. Airbag. Issue: On certain vehicles, exposure to moisture over time could cause the driver-front airbag not to inflate properly in a crash. Safety Risk: An airbag that does not inflate properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealer to install a newly designed driver-front airbag inflator.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
