By component

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
04V2700002004-06-09. STRUCTURE. ON CERTAIN FIRE TRUCKS, ONE OR BOTH OF THE CAB TILT CYLINDERS MAY LOCK WHEN THE CAB IS BEING LOWERED. THIS CAN HAPPEN IF A VELOCITY FUSE TRIPS IN EITHER OF THE CYLINDERS. Built 1997-01-02 to 2004-01-19.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20042032004-06-17. Other. On certain fire trucks, one or both of the cab tilt cylinders may lock when the cab is being lowered. This can happen if a velocity fuse trips in either of the cylinders. If only one velocity fuse trips and not the other, the resulting unequal loading may cause one of both of the cylinders to bend allowing the cab to lower to the chassis. Correction: Dealers will install flow restricting orifices to the cab tilt system.
20021972002-11-01. Steering. The TRW tie rod and drag link ball stud ends contain bearings that are below the specified case depth and/or hardness. This can lead to premature wear out and a possible separation of the ball stud from the socket and loss of steering control. Correction: All affected tie rods and drag links with different design ends will be replaced.
19980641998-04-08. Brakes. THE FRONT BRAKES ON THESE VEHICLES DO NOT MEET THE BRAKE RELEASE REQUIREMENT OF C.M.V.S.S. 121 - AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS. CORRECTION: LARGER AIR LINES FROM THE FRONT BRAKE CHAMBERS TO THE RELAY VALVE WILL BE INSTALLED.
19980631998-04-07. Seats And Restraints. THE UPPER D-RING ANCHORAGES FOR THE OPTIONAL CENTER MOUNTED REAR SEATS DO NOT MEET THE LOAD REQUIREMENTS OF C.M.V.S.S. 210 - SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY ANCHORAGES. CORRECTION: REINFORCEMENT BRACKETS WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE BACK OF THE CAB IN THE AREA OF THE D-RING.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
