The 42mm cartridge bearing washer within the hub assembly may crack, causing the hub to separate from the axle wheel end. |

(Airstream) is recalling certain 2022 Airstream Classic, Flying Cloud, Pottery Barn, 2022-2023 International, and Globetrotter travel trailers. The manual step may collapse due to the fastener screw pulling through the washer. |
| 2022373 | 2022-07-12. Wheels. Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, a washer in the wheel hub assembly could crack. If this happens, the wheel bearings could wear quickly and cause an axle failure. This could result in a wheel assembly separating from the trailer. Safety Risk: A wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle. Corrective Actions: Airstream will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact Dexter Axle to schedule a mobile service technician, who will replace the cartridge bearing washers. |

Safety Risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Airstream will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to repair the step assembly. |
