(Airstream) is recalling certain 2018-2020 International, Sport, Flying Cloud, Classic, Tommy Bahama, Globetrotter, and Nest travel trailers. The forward end of the spare tire carrier may contact the ground while the trailer is moving possibly resulting in the carrier and spare tire separating from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A spare tire that falls off could become a hazard for other drivers or people nearby. Corrective Actions: The company will send a replacement spare tire bracket to owners and dealers. Owners who would like help installing the bracket can contact an Airstream dealer. |
