| 10V344000 | 2010-07-22. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. AIRSTREAM IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2005-2009 CLASSIC TRAVEL TRAILERS MANUFACTURED FROM MARCH 2005 THROUGH APRIL 2009 AND EQUIPPED WITH HYDRAULIC BRAKE CONTROLLER BY ACTIVE TECHNOLOGIES. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE BRAKE CONTROLLER CAN FAIL UNEXPECTEDLY CAUSING THE BRAKES ON THE TRAILER TO LOCK UP OR TO FAIL COMPLETELY. Built 2005-03-01 to 2009-04-30. |
| 2012376 | 2012-11-06. Brakes. On certain trailers equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, the brake hoses may flex near the fitting on the brake assembly during suspension travel. Over time, the hoses may fatigue and fail, rendering the trailer brakes inoperative. This could increase stopping distances, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the brake lines with an updated design. |
|---|---|
| 2010239 | 2010-07-22. Brakes. Certain travel trailers may have been manufactured with a faulty hydraulic brake controller. The brake fluid reservoir may leak onto the controller circuit board causing it to fail. This could cause the trailer brakes to unexpectedly lock up or fail, which may result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the brake controller. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
