Service bulletin SSM 54668
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Some 2021-2023 Mach-E and 2022-2024 F-150 vehicles may have customers or dealerships that wish to activate new BlueCruise features (example: Lane Change Assist). New BlueCruise features can only be activated/delivered via an over-the-air update (OTA). Inform customers that they will need to wait for the update to be pushed to their vehicle. There is no way to manually push the update. If the update fails, OTA will re-attempt an update later.

If the condition is resolved, inform customers that this may be a temporary fix and engineering is currently working on a solution expected in Q4 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. For claiming, use causal 14G229 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4. If the condition persists after a test drive, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-03B for normal diagnosti |
