SSM 552262026-10-12. Service bulletin. For 2020-2026 Aviator/Corsair and 2018-2026 Navigator vehicles, if diagnostics in Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 501-10A > Front Seats > Diagnosis and Testing lead to the replacement of the front seat cushion extension adjuster, a lower-level part is now available (14C720). It is not necessary to replace the front seat cushion extension adjuster if only the front seat cushion extension motor assembly is damaged. For Corsair, use service part LJ7Z-14C720-A. For Aviator, use service part R2TZ-14C720-A. For 2025-2026 Navigator (both sides) and 2018-2024 Navigator driver side, use service part NL7Z-14C720-A. For 2018-2024 Navigator passenger side, use service part NL7Z-14C720-B.
SSM 551982026-09-30. Service bulletin. Some 2025-2027 Navigator vehicles equipped with multi-contour seats (minor feature code BYBAL) may exhibit a condition where the second-row seat does not return to the latched position (under power) after pressing the power return button (located on the outboard side of the seatback). To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). This may be caused by an occupant pulling the manual release strap. The manual release strap is intended to be used in emergency situations only where power seat operation is not available. Pulling the manual release strap disengages the seat pitch motor clutch. To correct the condition, the seat pitch motor clutch must re-engage with the seating system. Starting with the seat in the rearward position, press the power seat pitch button once and release it. While the seat is in motion, gently guide the headrest and seatback downward, moving the seat approximately halfway down toward the strikers (without
SSM 551002026-09-01. Service bulletin. For Various Ford and Lincoln vehicles, if diagnostics lead to the replacement of the front seat cushion cover J-clips, lower-level service parts are now available. Use service part W709919-S901 if the J-clip is completely detached from the seat cover and W715386-S424 if the clip is still partially attached. It is not necessary to replace the seat cover if only the J-clip is separating from the cover. Refer to PTS Home > Technical Assistance > Technical Support Videos > Section 501- Body and Paint > Seat J-Clips. For claiming, use causal parts from list below and labor operations 63100A and 63100A5. SSM 550512026-08-03. Service bulletin. Some 2025-2027 Navigator vehicles equipped with multi-contour seats (minor feature code BYBAL) may exhibit a "Seat cannot lock, Do not use" warning message for second row seats without any relevant diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. The second row seat(s) may also exhibit a rattle noise while driving from one of the seat latches without a warning message. This may be due to one of the power seat latches losing its learned home position. To relearn the home position, start with the seat down and latched. Press and hold the power return button on the seat back for at least 5 seconds. Release the return button. Wait 20 seconds, then confirm proper power pitch and stow operation of the affected seat. Road test the vehicle above 5 MPH (8 km/h) to confirm the warning light and/or rattle concern is resolved. For claiming, use causal part 7863161 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D45. If the concern persists, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10B for normal diagnostics and repair the vehicle outside of this article. SSM 550372026-07-27. Service bulletin. Some 2018-2024 Expedition and 2018-2027 Navigator vehicles equipped with a rear seat entertainment system/Lincoln Play may experience various system concerns. Rear seat entertainment systems are not on a controller area network (CAN) and are not supported by the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS). Certain system concerns may be resolved through software updates which will automatically download once each individual monitor is connected to Wi-Fi. Diagnostic support for rear seat entertainment systems is provided by VOXX electronics. If necessary, contact the VOXX Customer Service Department at 1-866-869-7888. If possible, record the device serial number by selecting the gear/Setup icon > Settings > Device and Software > About. If the unit will not power up, the serial number is on a label on the back of the monitor. It is helpful to know the date the issue occurred, how long the monitors were on prior to the issue, what app/input/media was being used, and if the system software was recently updated prior to the concern starting. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a no crank/no start condition with a discharged battery in cold weather conditions (below 32°F Ý0°C¨). Once this condition occurs, the battery draw will remain constant every time the ignition is turned off. This may be due to the power fold seat module (PFSM) (also referred to as the seat control module J ÝSCMJ¨) software keeping the controller area network (CAN) bus awake.
SSM 547112026-04-10. Service bulletin. Some 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may experience a second row armrest pin that is loose or broken. Engineering is aware of this condition and is investigating a service solution that will enhance the strength of the arm rest support structure and prevent recurring failures. This solution is expected to be available by the end of Q2 2026. If the customer is not willing to wait for the enhanced service solution, replacement of the seat frame is acceptable. Note that service replacement seat frames will have similar performance attributes for the arm rest support structure as the original seat frame that is being replaced. Should the customer choose to wait for the enhanced service solution that includes a strengthened arm rest support, schedule an appointment with the customer when the repair is made available in Q2 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for updates.

Some 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit misalignment of the 3rd row power folding seats when in the full upright position after performing a reset for an obstruction event. This may be due to the software in the power fold seat module (PFSM). This module may also be referenced as the seat control module J (SCMJ). Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q4 2026. If a vehicle comes in for this condition, instruct the customer that resetting the 3rd row power folding seats a second time will correct the condition. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.<br /><br /> The 3rd row power seat reset is performed with the following relearn procedure:<br /> 1.
