Other SMS - Campaign awareness

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

RSB-86-26-001-12026-06-04. Service bulletin. Rivian is launching a technical service bulletin for some model year 2022-2024 R1 vehicles that may have ultrasonic sensors detached from the front fascia mounting area. After detachment, the ultrasonic sensor may become dislodged and hang inside the front fascia, causing customer notifications for sensor issues and potential sensor damage. Upon ultrasonic sensor detachment, Rivian will perform an ultrasonic sensor repair to secure the sensor to the front fascia.
RCA-78-26-002-12026-04-07. Service campaign. Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2023-2024 R1T vehicles that were built with a rear zone control module that could potentially be exposed to moisture. Over time, extended exposure could cause corrosion at the electrical connections. Rivian will install a water shield over the rear zone control module to prevent moisture exposure to the electrical connections. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction and to ensure the quality of Rivian vehicles.

RCA-18-24-001-32025-09-03. Service bulletin. Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2023-2024 R1T and R1S vehicles. On these vehicles, the wheel hub to knuckle joint may have been assembled with an updated fastener using a torque value intended for the previously-used fastener. A fastener torqued to the previously-used lower value may cause an audible noise while driving at low speeds but will not impact vehicle performance. Rivian will retorque the affected fasteners and, if necessary, replace them. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction and to ensure the quality of Rivian vehicles. Note: This document supersedes RCA-18-24-001-2. Revision 3 updates the approximate build dates.
RCA-78-25-003-12025-06-04. Service campaign. Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2023-2025 R1T and R1S vehicles. These vehicles may have been built with an improperly formatted solid state drive (SSD) for storing camera recordings. This improper formatting prevents video recording of driving incidents and Motion Cam, which is part of the vehicle's Gear Guard system. Rivian will properly format the SSD.
