Service bulletin SSM 52280
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Some 2021-2024 Mustang Mach-E, 2022-2024 E-Transit/F-150 Lightning vehicles may have diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P1A3C stored in the off-board charger controller module (OBCC). The P1A3C is commonly set due to an interruption of the direct current (DC) fast charging process and should be disregarded. All other DTCs stored in the OBCC are to be addressed using applicable publications and/or normal diagnostics found in Workshop Manual, Section 414-03B.

| TSB 24-2126 | 2024-05-04. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 24-2093 to address the revised software and include affected 3.5L FHEV vehicles. Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with a gasoline, hybrid or flex fuel engine (non-Lightning) except 2023 F-150 with 3.3L may exhibit inoperative A/C, lack of air flow, blows warm, and/or evidence of the evaporator freezing. This may be due to the software level of the PCM and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) module. |

| TSB 24-2117 | 2024-05-04. Service bulletin. Some 2024 F-150 non-Lightning vehicles equipped with minor feature codes C2BAW and FDDAA may exhibit an intermittent Trailer Brake System Fault See Manual message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC), inoperative trailer brake controller, and/or diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U0131:87, U0140:87, U0100:87 and/or U0121:87 stored in the trailer module (TRM) when installing the trailer brake controller kit ML3Z-19H332-AB. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). Trailer brake controller kit ML3Z-19H332-AB does not include the correct TRM for 2024 F-150 vehicles, and this kit should not be installed on 2024 F-150 vehicles. |
| TSB 24-2116 | 2024-05-04. Service bulletin. Some 2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.5L PowerBoost engine may exhibit a Trailer Brake System Fault See Manual message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) and/or diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U0140:87, U0143:87, and/or U0444:82 stored in the trailer module (TRM). These symptoms can occur without a trailer connected to the vehicle. This may be due to the software level of the gateway module A (GWM). |
| SSM 52476 | 2024-05-03. Service bulletin. All accessory stick-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated (wired) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPES); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com > Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad. |
