When the concern is present the steering wheel will need to be rotated in either direction to alleviate the pressure between the steering column lock pin and lock plate. Please communicate to the customer this condition is a normal operating characteristic of their vehicle.
18NA111	2018-05-21. Service bulletin. This technical bulletin provides information on Media Disc Player Eject Button and Multifunction Switches 1 and 2 Stay Illuminated After the Ignition Is Turned Off and that this is a normal characteristic.
PIT5390B	2018-05-21. Service bulletin. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have the alarm sounding when learning new key fobs after the original key fobs were lost. Technician will open the driver’s door and allow the Content Theft Deterrent alarm to activate, which will pulse the horns and exterior lamps for approximately 30 seconds and the alarm will shut off at this time. As long as the driver’s door remains open the alarm will not turn back on and the new transmitters can be programmed.

PIT5444C	2017-08-15. Service bulletin. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about the text messaging feature on some newer General Motors infotainment systems. Pair the iPhone to the system then enter the Bluetooth settings menu, select the “i” icon next to the vehicle name in the device and enable show notifications. The text messaging feature will be available on the next ignition cycle. However with iPhones text messages cannot be responded to when using the infotainment system, they can only be received. For android devices pair the phone to the system during the pairing process the phone will ask you to allow the vehicle to access the device contacts. A second question will pop up on the device asking to allow the vehicle to access the message access profile. Both have to be allowed for the text messaging feature to work.
