NHTSA's summary

Some 2021-2023 Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with a 1.5L engine and active torque coupling differential may exhibit a hissing noise from rear liftgate area when driving between 35 to 50 MPH (56-80 Km/h). This condition could be eliminated when the vehicle is driven in slippery mode. This condition does not affect the vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform the customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in September 2023. The replacement of the rear drive unit (RDU) is not recommended for this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule a service appointment for customers once the repair becomes available.

SSM 546012026-02-27. Service bulletin. Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with wired keyless entry keypad systems and accessory wireless keyless entry keypad systems may or may not come with a wallet card containing the master code. Unlike the integrated wired keypad, the accessory wireless keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool or from the label printed on the body control module (BCM). The Factory Keyless Entry Code application within the diagnostic scan tool will not provide an applicable master code for the accessory wireless keypad. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is not available, the "Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide" can be referenced and provides direction on how to retrieve the master code. This guide is located under the Workshop Manual tab > Accessories > Installation > Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide > PPT C > Step C2.<br /><br /> Note: The only available keypad for some vehicles from the assembly plant is the accessory wireless keyless entry keypad. The integrated wired keypad cannot be installed on vehicles not equipped from the factory with a wired keyless entry k
SSM 542022025-09-18. Service bulletin. Some 2023-2025 Explorer (rear windows only), Bronco Sport, Escape, and Maverick vehicles equipped with minor feature code B2DAC may exhibit an inoperative passenger front and/or rear window switch. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by clicking "Additional Information" under Vehicle Information or double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner of Professional Technician System (PTS). This may be due to an open diode in one of the passenger window switches. To correct the condition, replace the passenger window switch of the affected window. If the condition persists continue with normal diagnostics. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 501-11. For claiming, use causal part 14529 and labor operation 14529A in the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
TSB 23-22982023-10-03. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with a 1.5L engine built on 24-Jul-2021 and through 31-Aug-2023 may exhibit a hissing noise from rear liftgate area when driving straight between 35-50 MPH (56 80 Km/h). This may be due to the absence of the rear floor insulator located in the spare tire compartment. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to install a rear floor insulator in the spare tire compartment.

SSM 515362023-05-04. Service bulletin. For 2000-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, swapping a module from a vehicle for diagnosis purposes is likely to cause errors and is not recommended. It is also not recommended to order a replacement module using a vehicle identification number (VIN) from a different vehicle. Most modules on these affected vehicles are VIN/vehicle specific and hardware variations between modules do exist. Swapping a module from a vehicle or ordering a module using a different vehicle/VIN can cause ineffective repairs and additional vehicle down time. Make sure all appropriate Workshop Manual (WSM) procedures are followed when diagnosing the condition prior to all module replacements and only order modules using the correct VIN.
SSM 504582022-02-16. Service bulletin. Some 2020-2021 Explorer/Aviator/Escape/Corsair, 2021-2022 Bronco Sport, and 2022 Maverick vehicles may exhibit an inoperative driver door window control switch (windows inoperative, mirror control unresponsive, etc.). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1088:87 may be present in the driver door module (DDM). This may be due to the software in the DDM. To correct the condition, reprogram the DDM with the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). After reprogramming the DDM, run the DDM configuration application and perform a window learn routine via FDRS. For claiming, use causal part 14B291 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 504522022-02-16. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2022 Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with passive entry system may experience a condition where the liftgate passive entry feature is inoperative. This may occur if the user inadvertently presses the liftgate button on the passive key fob once and then presses the exterior liftgate release switch, causing the liftgate passive entry feature to become inoperative. To correct this condition, press the liftgate button twice on the passive key fob to restore the liftgate passive entry feature functionality.
SSM 503242021-12-26. Service bulletin. Some 2021 Bronco vehicles built on or before 23-Jun-2021 may exhibit a whistle noise from the driver side mirror while driving. This may be due to an excessive gap between the side mirror and mirror cap assemblies. An improved version of the mirror cap has been released for service. To correct this condition, replace the mirror cap with service base part number 17D743. Refer to the parts catalog for the VIN specific application.
