Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation, a technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: P2183 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit Performance. P258B - Electric Vacuum Pump Performance. P040F - EGR Temperature Sensor A-B Correlation. P2D2F - Turbocharger-Supercharger -A- Underboost Condition. P0088 - Fuel Rail Pressure Too High. P026D - Fuel Injection Quantity Higher Than Expected. P208B - Reductant Pump 1 Control Performance. P20C6 - Reductant Heater 4 Control Circuit Performance. P016F - Closed Loop Fuel Pressure Control At Limit - Pressure Too Low. P025C - Fuel Pump Module Control Circuit Low. P225D - NOX Sensor 1/1 Performance - Signal Stuck Low. The following software enhancement is available:DTC U148D - Implausible Data Received From Forward Facing Camera, will be disabled in this software update. The customer may also describe the following:The remote start does not work due to MIL on after using engine block heater.Upon inspection the technician will find DTC P2183 is stored with this condition. In addition, the following driveability improvements are available: Increased tip in and tip out torque response. Low speed engine idle improvements. Eliminate idle oscillation in park and drive. Reduce driveline oscillations. 4-LO speed limiter improvements. Decrease engine start time after extended key on to crank.

P219A - Bank 1 Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance.** ? U0402-00 Implausible Data Received from the TCM. (When U0402-00 sets in the PCM, the module will start to deny torque requests from the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The transmission will fault and go to a fixed gear limp-inreaction, and send the MIL request to PCM.) The customer may also experence the following: ? A limp mode when the DTC sets in the PCM. This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.
