NHTSA's summary

Rear Axle Assembly If replacing Limited Spin Differential (LSD)/Anti-Spin Differential rear axles for any reason, the Mopar replacement axle will need the oil drained and re-filled with oil PN: 68083381AA (which contains updated friction modifier). This change was recently introduced in production to help address axle noise concerns being reported from the field while the vehicle is performing tight turning maneuvers. Failure to do so may result in a customer returning with noise complaints. NOTE: If the Mopar replacement axle serial number is past the following dates below for the corresponding axle part numbers, DO NOT DRAIN AND REFILL. The replacement axle will already have new fluid: Axle Part#: 53010668XX ? Serial # T03UG0047EXXXX Axle Part#: 53010669XX ? Serial # T03UG0047GXXXX Axle Part#: 68269917XX ? Serial # T03UG0037JXXXX Axle Part#: 05038703XX ? Serial # T03UG0047HXXXX Otherwise, perform the following repair procedure in the order given: 1. Follow standard rear axle installation procedure. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT> TechCONNECT under: Service Info> 03 - Differential and Driveline> Rear Axle> Installation>Standard Procedure>Rear Axle 2. Follow standard axle fluid drain/re-fill service procedure in TECHCONNECT. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT> TechCONNECT under: Service Info> 03 - Differential and Driveline> Rear Axle> Standard Procedure>Standard Procedure - Fluid Drain and Fill

90037042023-01-09. Service bulletin. Transmission Oil Pan, Heater (TMU), Tube or O-ring Applies to vehicles equipped with 8 speed transmissions only; if you have a leak that appears to be at the pan the use of proper leak detection is recommended. The fluid in the 8 speeds can be detected with a black light and there are aftermarket spray on leak detection materials to help ensure that the leak is properly diagnosed and not from another location such as cooler lines, heater tubes, or case porosity. Please note that the transmission pan gasket is available for many of the 8 speed applications FCA offers. Please review the available quick connect and transfer tube parts, as replacement of the TMU may not be required. If a TOC line connection is found to be the source, the quick connect may need replacement. If the leak source is coming from the connection of the TMU to the transmission, the transfer tube may need replacement. When parts are returned to the QEC the retaining clips (snap ring) for the quick disconnect fittings are missing. (This leaves a question as to whether the clips were missing from the assembly plant, or the technician removed them in order to make line removal easier.) Please return the clips with the transmission heater and note if they were not there to begin with. For any questions regarding transmission heater, contact FCA Redacted Content. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair.

Customer may experience the E-shifter will not shift out of park or the customer may be able to turn the E-shifter knob without the brakes being depressed. The shift indicator and cluster will show a flashing D and the cluster will display a message to put the shifter back to the park position. The Transmission will NOT shift out of park, when the brake pedal is not depressed. On further inspection the technician may find DTC P0928-00 BTSI Control.
