Service bulletin 18369

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Special Coverage. Some vehicles equipped with a 2.0L turbo engine, may have a condition where a wire within the exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid valve may break. If this were to occur, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp would illuminate, and a diagnostic trouble code DTC P0013 (Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Control Circuit) would set. The driver may experience rough engine idling or reduced engine torque/power. Dealers are to replace the exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid valve as necessary. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.
