Service bulletin SSM 50098

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Some 2021 F-150 vehicles equipped with navigation may exhibit an illuminated tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) warning indicator and/or a concern with reduced range of the keyfob. This may be due to a telematics control unit (TCU) module concern. Remove the TCU fuse and if the concern is no longer present, replace the TCU. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00. For claiming, use casual part 14F546 and the applicable labor operations of Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
