NHTSA's summary
Some 2021 F-150 vehicles built on or before 18-May-2021 may exhibit FordPass missing the button to activate the vehicle and/or a message stating WiFi hotspot feature not enabled when attempting to access the WiFi hotspot settings in the SYNC4 menu. For claiming use causal part number 14G650 and applicable labor times from Section 10 of the Service Labor Times Standard (SLTS) Manual.

| TSB 24-2126 | 2024-05-04. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 24-2093 to address the revised software and include affected 3.5L FHEV vehicles. Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with a gasoline, hybrid or flex fuel engine (non-Lightning) except 2023 F-150 with 3.3L may exhibit inoperative A/C, lack of air flow, blows warm, and/or evidence of the evaporator freezing. | SSM 52476 | 2024-05-03. Service bulletin. All accessory stick-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated (wired) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPES); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com > Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad. |

| SSM 52328 | 2024-03-20. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2024 Bronco/F-150, 2023-2024 Escape/F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience a concern during accessory protocol interface module (APIM) programming where the vehicle's center display screen indicates USB Error. This may be due to a lack of memory space available to perform the APIM software update. If it is a memory concern, the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) will provide an option to delete the voice application. Re-enter the module programming and when prompted, do not select first option - SYNC Module (APIM) Software Update, select the second option - Delete Voice Application(s) From Module. Once deleted, run the SYNC Module (APIM) Software Update as directed, this will update the software and automatically reload the voice app. If the voice delete option is not available, continue with normal diagnostics in the Workshop Manual, Section 418. |
| SSM 52224 | 2024-02-06. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles may exhibit DTC U023A:08 after reprogramming the SCCM. Do not replace or reprogram the SCCM, image processing module A (IPMA) or their components for this condition at this time. This DTC does not alert the customer, will not affect vehicle durability or vehicle operation and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that will reprogram the IPMA and is expected in Q2 2024. Monitor OASIS for additional information. |
| TSB 23-2407 | 2024-01-05. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a direct current/alternating current converter module A (DCACA) inverter (minor feature code HUKAK) may exhibit a Pro Power Onboard Unavailable message in the vehilce center display screen with DTC B15DA:09 in the BCM. This may be due to the software level of the BCM and powertrain control module (PCM). To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). To correct this condition, perform the Service Procedure below to reprogram the BCM and PCM to the latest software level via the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). |
| SSM 52100 | 2023-12-01. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with autowipers may exhibit an inoperative rain-sensing wipers feature, even when the feature is turned on in the Vehicle Settings menu. This may be due to the software level of the steering column control module (SCCM). To correct this condition, reprogram the SCCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) located under the SW Updates tab. For claiming, use causal part 3F791 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |
| TSB 23-2347 | 2023-11-21. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 23-2279 to update the Service Procedure. This may be due to the belt integrated starter generator (BISG). To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to diagnose and repair this symptom. |
| TSB 23-2345 | 2023-11-21. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may exhibit the navigation feature in the center display screen only displaying imperial (feet and miles) units and not being able to change to metric (meters and kilometers) units. This may be due to the software level of the SYNC module (APIM). To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to update the APIM to the latest software level via a coordinated flash. NOTE: The APIM software update that addresses the symptom listed in this article may have been sent via Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) to connected vehicles that have automatic updates enabled through the center display screen. Enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) in Professional Technician System (PTS) and check the OTA Dashboard under the Connected Vehicle tab for OTA update history. If an update to the APIM has successfully completed recently and the customer is reporting the symptoms are no longer present, this article may not apply. |
