NHTSA's summary

Door Trim Panel Gap Along Top After Front or Rear Trim Panel Installation Some customers or technicians may comment on seeing a gap between the top pad trim (1) and support panel (2) on a front or rear door trim panel. The condition is most common after the trim panel has been installed during a repair The cause of the condition may be that during a repair, the door pad top trim piece can become unseated when the door pad is pulled off of the clips that secure the door trim panel to the door. Do not replace the door panel for this condition. The gap can be eliminated by firmly pressing down and fully seating the top trim on the door panel.
