SMT-TN-161	2021-05-10. Service bulletin. Applies to all Thunderbird models except Thunderbird Commander and Thunderbird LT. A new clutch cable has been introduced to the above models from VIN 693388 and is retrofittable. Parts no longer support the original clutch cable. The difference between the original and new condition clutch cable is that the inner cable's free length at the clutch actuation lever is 18 mm longer than the original. The additional length is to allow the repositioning of the clutch actuation lever to eliminate any possibility of clutch drag. The fitting of the new condition clutch cable is the same as for Thunderbird Commander as described in the Service Manual and Technical News 158 issued 07/2014.
SMT-TN-149	2021-05-10. Service bulletin. The 2013 model year for all models in the Classic range (all versions of Bonneville, America, Speedmaster, Thruxton and Scrambler) has ceased production and the 2014 model years have started. The model year change took place at various VINs depending upon the model concerned, and these VINs are now all listed in the parts information against the specific parts affected. The VIN break points listed in parts information relate to the points where 2013 model year ceased production and the 2014 model year started.
SMT-TN-140	2021-05-10. Service bulletin. The Tiger Explorer is now equipped with either cast or spoked wheels. The Tiger Explorer XC will be equipped with spoked wheels, hand guards, sump guard, engine guards and fog lights. The tyre options and tyre pressures for both types of wheel are the same as described in the Owner Handbook and Service Manual.
SMT-TN-139	2021-05-10. Service bulletin. A new sliding selector shaft and detent assembly has been introduced on the above models from engine number 563847. The new shaft is secured into the crankcase with E-clips and is not retrofittable. When ordering replacement parts, always refer to EPC.
