This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about changing the tire and wheel size on vehicles. General Motors will only support a tire calibration for tires that have been sized, tested and designed for the vehicle in question and its applications. Technician should not use the information that is provided by the antilock braking system tire size selection.

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a crank but engine does not start concern.Technician will use this publication to reset the battery low state of charge concern after extended crank where the vehicle will no longer crank anymore and the cause of the no start concern is repaired.If Diagnostic Trouble Code P0AFA is the only Diagnostic Trouble Code set this could be caused by an internal fault in the high voltage battery and SI diagnosis will have to be followed for further diagnosis.

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have an intermittent ratchet, grind, or ABS pump motor noises heard from the front of the vehicle when maneuvering through banked turns, usually between 20 - 30 miles per hour. Technician will need to update the Electronic Brake Control Module using TIS2WEB.
PIC5468C	2017-08-15. Service bulletin. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles with a spongy brake pedal after a hydraulic brake component was disconnected or replaced. The brake lines between the master cylinder and the antilock brake system module are routed higher than the master cylinder. If air enters the system it will travel to this high point if the system is opened for a repair. The technician will need to perform an automated bleed procedure using the scan tool to ensure all the air is purged out of the hydraulic system.
PIT4225F	2017-08-15. Service bulletin. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have an Antilock Braking System lamp followed by a Service Stability message in the Drivers Information Center. Technician my find Diagnostic Trouble Code C0710 set in the Electronic Brake Control Module. Technician may or may not find Diagnostic Trouble Code C0455. Technician will need to ensure the steering wheel is properly installed to the steering shaft.
PIC5432D	2017-08-15. Service bulletin. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have an intermittent Service Stabilitrak message being displayed in the Driver Information Center only at startup and that the message is gone within seconds of starting the engine. On model year vehicles 2010 through 2012 technician will reprogram the Electronic Brake Control Module with the latest calibrations in Tis2Web.
PIC5428F	2017-08-15. Service bulletin. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician on how to diagnose and repair vehicles that may have the Antilock Braking System, Service Traction Control System, and/or Service Stabilitrak lights are on. The Electronic Brake Control Module may have one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes C0035-C0050 with specifically symptom 18, 5A, or 0F. Technician will gain access to the correct wheel bear per the Diagnostic Trouble Code that is set. If debris is found on the magnetic encoder ring it will needed to be cleaned.

This Preliminary Information communication provides the technician with steps to diagnose and repair the vehicle if the ABS lamp is on with Diagnostic Trouble Code C0035 C0040 or unwanted traction control activation. Technician will inspect the Wheel Speed Sensor harness for damage. Technician will repair the broken or damaged wire for the Wheel Speed Sensor.
