TSB: REVISION NOTICE February 25, 2019 Rev1: ? Applicability has been updated to include 2019 model year Tacoma vehicles and engine and transmission types. ? The Warranty Information section has been updated. ? The Repair Procedure section has been updated with the addition of step 84. Any previous printed versions of this bulletin should be discarded. Some 2016 ? 2019 model year Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a condition where the air conditioning system shuts down and stops blowing cool air during periods of extended engine idle with ambient temperatures greater than 100°F. Follow the Repair Procedure in the bulletin to address this condition.

The PCS and DRCC systems are designed to help mitigate a potential collision and maintain a pre-determined traveling distance. It is recommended to disable the PCS and DRCC systems on vehicles that have been modified (ride height, oversized wheels/tires, brush bars, etc.) in a way that potentially disrupts the functionality of these systems. Vehicle owner?s written consent is required before performing the calibration to permanently disable the PCS and DRCC systems.
