Ticking noise coming from front wheel while cornering without brakes applied noticeable at low speeds. The vehicle must be moving. See attached video V34 01 20 Note: For a similar noise heard when parking with the brakes applied refer to SIB 31 01 12. Microscopic movement of the contact interface between the inner brake disc and the wheel bearing flange on vehicles equipped with lightweight brake discs.
B6601152018-12-17. Service bulletin. Surround View Camera Last User Mode Operation Change. After programming with ISTA/P 2.53.5 or a more recent version, the rear camera view is displayed when the reverse gear is selected. The vehicle does not remember the last user mode (surround/top camera view). INFORMATION An operational concept change for the surround/top camera view was introduced with ISTA/P 2.53.5 (I-level Fxx-14-07-505). When the reverse gear is selected, the default view will be the rear camera. The surround/top camera view has been removed from the last user mode function. This is to meet the upcoming (new) federal regulations regarding rear view cameras. Note: The surround/top camera view is available, but the driver must manually switch the camera view using the iDrive controller.
6519142018-11-26. Service bulletin. DWA Siren Malfunction. When the anti-theft alarm (DWA) is triggered, the horn comes on instead of the alarm siren. DWA internal monitoring is too sensitive.
6606142018-11-13. Service bulletin. Rear View Camera Does Not Display Image on CID. After engaging the reverse gear, the reversing camera does not display a picture in the CID (Central Information Display). CAUSE The drive mechanism for the roundel actuation in the boot lid is faulty.

Sporadically, a CCM (Check Control Message) is displayed advising that the Camera-based Driver Assistant system has failed. This is due to the vehicle interior reaching very high temperatures. During this failure, all KAFAS (Camera-based driver assistance systems) system functionalities are inoperative. The affected functionalities are: Pedestrian Detection Front Collision Warning Lane Departure Warning Speed Limit Info (if equipped) The following fault code is stored in the KAFAS control unit: 0x800AC0 - Switching off due to excess temperature Note: The system is functional after the interior temperature has cooled down or by cycling the ignition off and on again. Incorrect calibration of the temperature sensor in the KAFAS camera.
