This is a Technical Journal: This TJ is to inform the market in cases where a fuel pump unit in the fuel tank needs to be replaced. Additional parts needs to be ordered due to an updated method. If a replacement of the fuel pump unit in the fuel tank is performed, an updated method in VIDA is released. Additional parts (1 clip part number: 31478993 and 1 part number 999574 cable tie) needs to be ordered to be able to perform the method as stated above. This is to ensure that the harness is positioned correctly towards vehicle body to prevent chafing of harness.

Technical Journal TITLE : The Error Frame Finder (EFF) can be an aid in fault tracing intermittent CAN network problems by providing a visible indication of error frames that are being transmitted on the network when the fault becomes active. The advantage of using the EFF function is that error frames are usually transmitted on the network before a vehicle symptom can occur. Hence, if the fault is very intermittent in nature, it may be possible, for example, to induce the wiring fault for a short duration by manipulating the vehicle harnesses and connectors. The electrical fault will occur and be detected by the EFF without ever having a vehicle symptom appear. The instructions for setting up the tool have been simplified.

This is a Technical Journal: Washing and cleaning products with a pH value below pH 3.5 and/or above pH 11.5 is not recommended as it can permanently discolour the side door, quarter glass trim moulding and roof rails, see attached pictures. Using chrome or metal polish on anodized aluminium parts, such as side door, quarter glass trim moulding and roof rails, is not recommended as it can discolour the part and destroy protective layers. This is a Technical Journal: Replacement of (LPS)Low Pressure Sensor and fuel line P3. *If the car is equipped with a Cooper LPS P/N 31478293/31405791,replace it with a new Sensata sensor P/N 31432653 that is included in a kit P/N 32242867 together with the appropriate feed line packed in a plastic bag.
