Service bulletin B614617
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned: the document says which.
| B122716 | 2020-05-18. Service bulletin. DIAGNOSING NON FUNCTIONING eDRIVE: Vehicle will not go into "eDrive". No pertinent electric drivetrain fault codes to assist with diagnosis. "eDrive" may be greyed-out in the Central Information Display (CID) and is not selectable. MSA deactivation. 12 Volt battery failure. Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) failure. |

| B010520 | 2020-05-18. Service bulletin. N47T/N57T EGR COOLER - LTD WTY EXTENSION TO 10 YEARS WITHOUT MILEAGE LIMIT: The vehicle demonstrates a power loss and the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on. |
| B340517 | 2020-04-20. Service bulletin. TICKING NOISE WHILE CORNERING WITHOUT THE BRAKES APPLIED: This Service Information Bulletin (Revision 3) replaces SI B34 05 17 dated September 2017. Ticking noise coming from front wheel while cornering without brakes applied noticeable at low speeds. The vehicle must be moving. See attached video V34 01 20 Note: For a similar noise heard when parking with the brakes applied refer to SIB 31 01 12. Microscopic movement of the contact interface between the inner brake disc and the wheel bearing flange on vehicles equipped with lightweight brake discs. |
| B321119 | 2020-04-20. Service bulletin. SPORADIC REDUCTION OF STEERING ASSISTANCE: This Service Information Bulletin (Revision 1) replaces SI B32 11 19 dated October 2019. The driver notices a reduction of steering assistance sporadically while in certain driving situations. Steering control is never lost when the reduction of assistance occurs. The fault may self-correct for no obvious reason or be eliminated with a terminal change/key cycle. There is no Check Control (CC) message when the issue occurs. Unfavorable software in the Electric Power Steering (EPS). |
| B121219 | 2019-06-24. Service bulletin. The electrical machine electronics (EME) Printed Circuit Board (PCB) may not have been produced to specifications. In the event that the EME detects this condition it will shut down high-voltage electrical power. A shut down of high-voltage electrical power would result in a loss of propulsion increasing the risk of a crash. However the 12-volt electrical power remains functional to support power steering and braking. |
| B613814 | 2018-12-17. Service bulletin. Drivetrain Malfunction (CCM 794) with Isolation Faults. The Drivetrain Malfunction check control message (CCM 794) is displayed, either while driving or when starting up. The following faults are stored in the vehicle: EME: 22280F and/or 222814 SME: 21F0E3 and/or 21F0E4 When the CCM is present, there are no apparent drivability concerns. After allowing the vehicle to rest and then restart, the CCM typically does not reappear. CAUSE The cause of an isolation fault is generally a resistance between HV+ or HV- and the shield/chassis ground, which is below a predetermined threshold. The following procedure addresses these faults when caused by a defect in the cable between the HV battery and the EME, as well as when excess moisture is present inside the REx eMachine. This moisture condenses and triggers the above-mentioned faults after a long REx runtime followed by rapid cooling. |
| B270315 | 2018-12-10. Service bulletin. Vibration or Shudder from Driveline when Accelerating from a Stop. Chassis stabilization warning is displayed. Vehicle may exhibit a shudder or vibration when taking off from a stop. One or more of the following fault codes may be stored: LMV ? 440101 - Transfer box (VTG): End of transmission service life reached ? 440105 - Transfer box (VTG ) Calibration Faulty ? 440115 - Transfer box (VTG): Calibration angle deviation outside tolerance? 44011B - Set torque outside of the torque characteristic curve EGS ? 420611 - DSC interface (wheel speed): non-permitted deviation of wheel speed (actual speed of wheel RL/FL/RR/FR, 0x254) from output speed and turbine speed DSC ? 48097D - Transfer box: Fault, clutch position known, only rear-wheel drive These symptoms or faults would be stored on a vehicle with low mileage (< 12,500 miles). CAUSE A front or rear differential with the incorrect gear ratio was installed in the car. The front and rear differentials need to be geared exactly the same for the xDrive to function properly. |
| B240116 | 2018-12-10. Service bulletin. "F15, F30 PHEVs- Gear Selector Plausibility Faults. The Check Control message ""Drive: Stop carefully"" (CCM-ID: 569) is displayed. The following fault codes may be stored in the transmission EGS control module (GKEG3HY3): 44D663 - Position plausibility: Driver's choice N/P from D/R not executed CF1701 - Gear selector switch interface, communication failure CF17A1 - Message missing: receiver EGS (A-CAN), transmitter selector switch (A-CAN) EGS software diagnostic function" |
| B170116 | 2018-12-10. Service bulletin. "Delivery Stop - Transmission Oil Cooler Lines Incorrectly Routed. A Delivery Stop has been issued for fifteen F15 vehicles produced from March 3, 2016 to March 28, 2016. In these vehicles the cooler lines for the automatic transmission may have been routed incorrectly. In such instances, the cooler lines may come into contact with the crankshaft vibration damper (pulley). Affected vehicles can be identified with a ""Vehicle Comment"" in DCS Warranty Vehicle Inquiry or ISPA Light with the description: ""A Delivery Stop has been issued for this vehicle. Dealers must ensure that all Campaigns are completed before retail delivery to the customer. See Service Information Bulletin B17 01 16.""" |
| B611417 | 2018-11-26. Service bulletin. "MIL OR ""POWERTRAIN MALFUNCTION!"" CCM DISPLAYED IN INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. One or both of the following check control messages (CCM) is displayed: ? Malfunction indicator lamp (CCM-ID: 34) ? ""Powertrain malfunction"" (CCM ID: 633) Note: Depending on the driving situation, additional CCM(s) may also be displayed. Possible defect of the cell supervision circuit(s) (CSC)." |
